It is TIME to examine our spiritual standing and spiritual vision before God. If we see what He SEES, we will then be allowed to move into what He WILLS.
The highway of holiness is before us, and the unclean will not be able to walk in it.
For some, it is time to rent our hearts and wail in our souls so that He may remove from us a complacent and rebellious heart. God will NOT bless nor use us if we don’t deal with this heart problem fundamentally.
Many of us remain clueless about the seriousness of this hour. As a result, our spiritual sensitivities and experiences will be different.
The ultimate reason is obvious: the love of God needs to dwell in us with a fuller and more intense measure. Repent, therefore, and fan the flame of Godly zeal and cry out for Him to pour out His fresh oil and breath anew upon the altar of our heart of devotion, individuality as well as corporately. Seek, ask and knock till He opens and gives the power of the Spirit.
Deal with the ways of lukewarmness and false contentment of spiritual immaturity, or even worse, spiritual lawlessness. Ask for His heart of love and for the spirit of the fear of the Lord to break through the depths of our heart that we may be changed once for all.
Now is coming the day He will become “silent” to the deceived and the arrogant, making heaven like iron to the rebellious and the unbelieving. Now is coming the day the deluge of apostasy and the coldness of man’s heart will cover the earth as a thick darkness. Yet at the same time, Heaven will come to earth through His glorified and dedicated ones. Such a day is upon us.
Ponder on this fact: He came to His own, yet His own rejected Him. Why? Which side will you be on when He “comes” in such a time like this: reception or rejection? If indeed this is an appointed time in the progression of His divine work according to His eternal plan, read the symptoms of the sickness of man and this wicked world and corrupted generation and heed the signs of heaven and earth.
Each one of us will have to give Him a clear answer. All we need is to have the Father shine His spiritual light upon us, so we can SEE and remain in His approval, and become the face of His light and glory and good pleasure, not of His dismay and wrath.
May we know this in our hearts: tomorrow will not always be the same; not when His appointed time has come.
The golden calf (self-made worship and spiritual idolatry) is the abomination (defilement of a people who bears His name) that causes desolation (wrath and judgment of God). The red heifer (the cross of Christ and the lamb of God) is the offering that cleanses us from all our sins (drink my blood and eat my flesh). One allows self-indulgence and spiritual rivalry; the other is administered through and through in holiness.
The true distinction is that one is careless of God’s approval, and the other is divinely appointed by Him.
The sword cuts, and the rod dashes. There are things in our lives that the Lord will separate, and there are those that He will have to abolish as idolatrous if we cling onto them. He will redeem and restore one, but the other He will ruin and put into eternal damnation.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus, come! Heavenly Father, have mercy on us as we pray thy that Kingdom comes on earth as it is in heaven! Thy will be done in us and through us!
