A Letter from brother Moses
Hallo brother Immanuel, John and all brethren,
Beloved of the Lord, please receive greetings from orphans, widows, church leadership and all the saints in Bungoma Kenya….we are trusting that the Almighty God has preserved you well under the shadow of His wings…..Its our prayer that God crowns all your efforts with Godly success ….
The elections in Kenya resulted into a lot of tension, anxiety, fear of the unknown and instability. Shops closed in advance, vital services were unavailable for some days, there has been violence in isolated areas, mainly main cities but the situation is calming down slowly. We hosted many families in our home who sought refuge in our midst because of the fear they had of the political violence. Pastors here are respected people in the society who take no sides in the political divide, Hosting these families and the big number of orphans we have, forced us to incur expenses that we hadn’t planned nor we were prepared for, we have had to stretch beyond our normal budget, i.e. we rented the new premises where there was security to host them and ourselves. Though it has inconvenienced us but we thank God for the protection and the rare opportunity to minister to the vulnerable and needy. We thank God for your earnest prayers , peace is slowly being restored.
We are hoping and anticipating that normal working atmosphere will be fully realized very soon, this will happen when citizens come to realize that their desired choice didn’t succeed. Keep praying for us as we are in a very sensitive, delicate situation at the moment….. African politics has a big problem since the ruling governments never want to let power go easily, they prefer blood- shed. We are intending to transport these orphans back to their respective premises as from early next week after we have confirmed that the area is safe and peaceful….What a joy to serve God’s people! Its still a big and huge burden for us currently but we are encouraged to know that God will make a way of settling these bills though we were not prepared for this expenses but our God knew them in advance…….
Brothers , we take this blessed opportunity to thank you so much for your constant and sacrificial support that has always made an impact in the lives of orphans and widows, sometimes its not easy to find people who are loving enough whom you can share with the plight of the needy, orphans and widows but you have always provided a listening ear, loving heart and supportive hands to lean on……Many times your support comes when we are at the crossroads with no option left but when we receive it, it turns everything around then the joy and smiles come again on the faces of the orphans who had lost hope…your investment to this dear ones is never in vain only God will reward you abundantly….Please keep praying for them…..
Please attached are pictures of the orphans and the people you are supporting..
In Jesus love,
Pastor Moses and the team….
