Divine Contrast – Two Kinds of Sons
In this meeting, Immanuel Sun continues with his teachings on the order of Melchizedek. Many in leadership positions in the church of today don’t understand the extreme importance of sonship. Many go so far as to even deny that sonship is a Biblical truth even though God’s emphasis on importance of sonship is made very clear in the Bible.
God’s way of raising of up sons is very specific. One example is symbolism depicted in the story of Isaac and Ishmael. It was Isaac who was the approved son and Ishmael, not the son of the slave woman, Hagar. Ishmael represented Mount Sinai, which was representative of the ministry of slavery, or the old covenant. Sons of slaves cannot inherit. In contrast, Isaac represented a son of Mount Zion or a son of promise- one fully able to become a rightful son.
Immanuel expounds on these divine contrasts and their symbolic truths.
