The word “principle” from the dictionary has the following meaning, “the first in rank, authority, importance and degree. A chief; head; a governing or presiding officer, a main performer. This includes the areas of society, finances, law, religion and music.”
The word “divine” speaks loudly to us as to the above word “principle” in its meaning for Christians, “of or like God; given or inspired by God, holy, sacred; devoted to God; supremely, great, good”.
The advancement concerning today’s church system seems to be one of mixed manifestations. While the whole of creation is in a state of groaning and travail, knowing the pain of uncertainty, with many knowing only confusion and a life without real purpose. Meanwhile, the word of God states for mankind that the hope which remains shall advance to the realm of purpose being fulfilled. God has purposed that a people shall come forth in knowing complete redemption into the fulness of God’s purpose. Rom. 8:23b,
“…. waiting for the adoption [the sons of God by spiritual generation], to wit, the redemption of our body [completing the process to manifest the whole man, spirit, soul and body, into sonship]”.
Thus, a pointing to a redeemed people, that generation which God purposed to bring forth from Himself in them becoming His kings and priests.
1 Peter 2:9,
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people [possession or acquisition], that you should show forth the praises [virtues] of Him Who has called you out of darkness into [the motion to an object with the purpose of reaching or touching it]His marvelous light”.
This purpose, including faith, results in “faith” bringing a people into a place of surety. A sureness that encourages and motivates this people into knowing Him, the creator of all things. Faith, a divine principle that becomes a living, divinely implantation. This speaks of those who truly believe as to the reality of seeing Him as He is. This principle brings true ownership with Christ Jesus having the title deed. An ownership that results in this people becoming the workmanship of God and manifesting His glory.
Heb. 1:2,
“Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son [this expresses the exclusive character of His Sonship – revealing God’s pattern for true sonship]by Whom also He made [prepared] the worlds [ages]”.
“Faith”, the inspired purpose God uses as the “proof” or evidence which God receives and response to while making this people complete in Him. In this, He makes up the fulness of Christ in completing and manifesting the body of Christ.
2 Tim. 3:16-17,
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished into all good works”.
The word “perfect”, as used above points to the fact of one who is fitted, fitting like a joint, perfect adaptation for given uses. In this, God’s workmanship is actively completing a generation who shall stand up as a perfect fitted people to manifest that which the seed of God is. That is, likened into the pattern Son, Jesus Christ, who sends them forth to speak the words of God. These shall be the body of Christ who fulfill the mission even as God purposed it.
John 3:34,
“for He Whom God hath sent speaks the words [The RHEMA – the word of God in its outward form] of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto Him”.
Remember, the Christ has a many member body that makes up the whole Christ.
Heb. 11:1-3,
Now faith [the living divinely implanted principle, them that believe and receive] is the substance [title deed] of things hoped for, the evidence [the proof] of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds [ages] were framed [prepared] by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not [does not depend on feelings] made [came into being] of things which do appear [to shine forth, so as to be seen]”.
The words “not seen” above speaks to us of God bringing forth according to His purpose alone. He is the creator and has purposed to bring forth the manifestation of His purpose to fulfill His will. Therefore, God is fulfilling, according to His desires which does not depend upon any prior conditions expressed or implied. Things now seen are the results of God providing the power of seeing, the use of the eyes, things to be looked upon. This means, faith is used of the act of looking even though nothing is seen in the natural. This speaks, that God’s divine principles, which have been put into motion in the invisible are drawn into the visible manifestation by faith. And this kind of faith is becoming the make-up of God’s new creation man.
Along with the above truth, God has an adversary called Satan, one who is actively involved in deceiving God’s people into confusion. By his lies and half-truths, he desires to take away man’s purposed inheritance by blinding men to that inheritance. This truth is confirmed as we consider Job and Satan’s fear of God’s purpose. Job 1:6 reveals,
“Now there was a day when the sons of God [considered to be angels, messengers] came to present themselves [took their station, their ordained place] before the Lord [the covenant God in relation to those whom He created] and Satan [the adversary] came also among them”.
In considering the meeting taking place, a need to consider that the adversary was a fallen angel who purposed in himself to rise above God while destroying God’s principles and purpose. In this act Satan became a god unto himself. Is this that which Adam and Eve also did as well as most of humanity today? How did Satan purpose to accomplish his evil scheme except by seeking to take God’s intended place within the people, to inhabit them himself, to control them in leading mankind against God? One of the greatest avenues these fallen angels use is a system called religion, expressing a need for a god of one kind or another. Carnal religion is a source used to lead the people into yielding to deceit by using half-truths to take from them the full measure of God’s purpose. That purpose of God is to make of them a body for the Christ to dwell in concerning His fulness and second coming.
Let’s note the full measure of God’s principles and the results they bring forth at their being received and faithfully trusted.
Acts 17:28,
“For in [true meaning is by; being or remaining within] Him [Christ] we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also His offspring”.
In this statement concerning “offspring”, take note that all mankind is descended from Adam, and in that sense are the posterity, the offspring of God. But, consider well, the difference between offspring of God with a fallen nature and those of Christ body who have received Him to dwell within.
John 1:13,
“Which [who; those who believe, have faith, on His name] were born [begotten, to beget or engender, to bring forth into the world], not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but of God”.
An act of God birthing a people to become His dwelling place, His temple. In this, He fulfills His purpose, His principles released from Himself to dwell within them as King and Lord, His governmental nature which occupies all receiving and believing vessels. These divine principles are God’s nature activated within receiving and submissive vessels that God might take His rightful place in Lordship and Fatherhood. A people, the body of Christ in union with the head Jesus Christ, coming forth to establish God’s eternal kingdom on the earth.
In the verses of 1 Cor. 12:12-13 we can note the unity and oneness of all members of this body of Christ, along with it’s head,
“for as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many are one body: so also is Christ [the anointed one; this noun is used of and for the Messiah – pointing to the coming Christ as a head, Jesus, with a many member body]. For by one spirit are we all baptized [pointing to the PNEUMA HAGION, the Holy Spirit] into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond [slaves- also pointing to vessels bound to evil habits] or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit [receiving the new Christ nature]”.
This is that baptism spoken of by John the Baptist concerning the Christ who would baptize by the Holy Spirit. John 1:33b,
“…. Upon whom thou see [the actual perception of the object] the Spirit descending and remaining on Him, the same is He which baptizes with the Holy Spirit”.
Did not the Holy Spirit descend upon Jesus in the form of a dove to rest upon Him with God’s voice declaring, “This is my beloved Son, hear ye Him?” This is the same Holy Spirit that was poured out upon the early church on the Day of Pentecost. It has been declared in the above verses that this same Spirit baptizes each receiving vessel into that one body. That body, is the body of Christ wherein the Son makes His dwelling place. The fulness of the Christ to be manifested unto the world, the second coming of the Christ in His fulness.
In receiving of this same Spirit that dwelt in Jesus, God releases unto the earth Himself in the form typed as waters. These waters have a specific purpose, which is, to water a dry and thirsty land called fallen man. Note the occasion when Jesus net the woman of Samaria at the well. John 4:14 states,
“But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst [by no means thirst forever; pointing to an age]; but the water that I shall give him shall be [become] in [remaining within as fulfillment comes] him a well [fountain] of water springing up into everlasting life [the fountain of life]”.
In becoming a people with such a flowing fountain, each chosen vessel must needs understand that such a fountain is not a flow of the humanity of man himself. It, the above scripture declares of a certain age or time when such a life-giving river or fountain shall flow. This life flows when the life-giver dwelling within has brought the humanity of the fallen-man to an end. That is as Paul refers to the need, being crucified with Jesus, dying daily until completely apprehended by that for which God apprehends us. It is no longer the I that lives but it is Christ living in and through me.
Phil. 3:12,
“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect [perfected]: but I follow after [press], if that I may apprehend [overcome for Christ – dying to self] that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus [allow the Holy Spirit to overcome self to fulfill God’s purpose]”.
Note that the divine principles of God’s nature are that for which God created man. But, when man fell, the evil principles of Satan became a way of life for the fallen man. This created a life-style that is sold out to self without seeing a need for God. But, God’s purpose has never changed, the purpose of having for Himself a family in His likeness and image. Meanwhile, the man, being a god unto himself allows Satan to deceive him in every aspect of human life. This speaks of man lost in himself, an avenue of deception and death, a separation from God. Note that divine principles are not something you do through works of the flesh but are expressed only as the Christ and His nature dwell and manifest from within. It is His life alone that manifest His character, His principles, His nature which is His divine government manifesting from within. Christ in you and I released is to manifest our complete and only hope of glory.
Eph. 1:22-23 declares the completion of God’s divine principles as they conquer the vessel to become the manifestation of God’s purpose in our creation.
“And hath put [subjected] all things under His [Christ] feet [denotes the place such action extends] and gave Him to be the Head [Jesus Christ] over all things to the church [a people call out from the rest of nations or peoples]. Which is His body [for what purpose?], the fulness of Him [His many members “fill up” the body of Christ, and the body of Christ fill up and completes “the dispensation of the fulness of times”] that fills all in all [Christ fills up all the members with spiritual gifts and graces]”.
While the carnal mind finds this truth hard to except, likewise most of the Christian community, many if not most being carnal, find themselves falling short of God’s true purpose. Contrary to this lack, faith exercised by those believing one’s accept the truth of God’s word, a knowing that it is not the vessel who fulfills the principles, but the Christ manifesting from within the vessel. The Christ, the head Jesus and His many member body have these divine principles within to be exercised according to His divine pleasure and purpose. This speaks of dying daily to the fallen man while yielding to the Christ within.
Col. 2:6-10,
“As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk you in Him. Rooted and built up in Him and stablished in the faith [the living divinely implanted principle], as you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the rudiments [basic elementary rules] of the world and not after Christ: For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power”.
Thus, a coming people who make up the fulness of Christ, filled with His divine principles to establish God’s kingdom on earth.
