I woke up from a dream and the Lord told me to record it. I still don’t have much understanding, nor I feel it’s necessary to write it down. But I can’t refuse to do what He tells me to do. So here it is…:)
I forget the first portion. But I think it’s like many of my other dreams, where I was sent to the outer space for a rescue mission or something. I am reminded of a dream where I would pilot a speedy spacecraft and experiment a new technology of space travel or something. It is like the Sfi movies we watch these days, only that I am the actor.
Headquarter
Now it seems that my team have just finished a mission with great success and we have come back to our headquarter. There are a lot of people and a lot of infrastructures, much like another world. I am sent to the head office. The “President”, an elder (in his 50s), wants to congratulate me in person. More importantly, he has decided to have me lead another line of operation. It seems that the wellbeing of the whole kingdom and the safety of the headquarter is resting on this well-planned and long-waited strategy. We, a young generation, would set out as fresh force, with the strength and tenacity like the “former” force, to meet the enemy as a surprise, thus put its rebellion to the end. The “President” is obviously very happy that finally I am up to the task and that we have forged a great team, with whom I had undertaken many successful missions. He offers me praises, then solemnly gives me the charge. After that, I am dismissed and ushered out of his office.
Now it seems that everyone attending me knows that this is a solemn occasion. They treat me with great courtesy yet also with a sense of respect and honor. They all look very serious. Yet when they look at me, I can clearly sense the joy, hope, zeal, excitement, even gratitude exuding from their heart. With one intense look, they would have it spoken to me thousands of words, to let me know, their thankfulness, their great expectation and their unreserved encouragement and trust. I never see such a disciplined and spirited crew in my real life-somehow in the dream, I seem to have gotten used to it. Still, the excitement and the encouragement make me more and more aware of the solemnity and significance of the task that was just entrusted to me.
Dinning Hall
Now the scene changes. It seems that I have gathered with my team and we are now in long line of people waiting in a dinning hall. The place seems to be of a military setting, obviously only for the headquarter personals. Everything is done with certain order or protocol. It is quite unusual for us to dine here. Have not the “President” insisted us to be well taken care of and instructed others to do so, I suspect we are even allowed to be here.
I think I need to describe the place a little bit. It is huge. There are at least two sections of dinning area. We can’t see the other side because the wall covers it up. The hall has high-ceilings, almost like an aircraft garage, which is really enormous in terms of space. Two lines of people come forward to an entrance stand. Behind the stand are some service young ladies. They give everyone in line a card with a code on it. Each person then will find their seat assigned by the code to sit and eat at tables that are laid out in the other section. However, at the far corner in this section, a special area is set aside. There is a small dining place, still empty. Beside it is the kitchen area with a bunch of staff busy with preparing and severing food.
I am at the front of our team in the left line, waiting for others ahead of us to be admitted. Now, it is my turn. But they do not have my card ready. I can’t recall the exact reason. This is promptly reported to the young lady who is in charge of the whole service operation. It seems the other dinning area is full, according the way they are assigning cards. But people in the other line are still being processed to go there while we are being hold back.
Anyway, it seems that our presence causes the confusion. The young lady takes over the stand and begins to working on assigning me a new code. I now can have a closer look at her. She is a very beautiful lady. And by the way she handles things, I know she is very competent and well organized. It seems she is the only one knows how to assign a new code, which is produced by a complicate formula.
Standing there, I have nothing to do but watch her working on her calculation. She uses some paper on the stand to jot down the results, then double check them to just make sure. I notice something strange happening to her while I am watching: she is a bit uncomfortable with me standing there and looking at her. Somehow the moment we saw each other, we each know she will be my wife. Yet we have never met each other. It seems this recognition greatly distracts her. So she takes extra precaution to make sure that she has not made a mistake.
Now I can see what she is writing. The code finally is produced. The first one is 7CF7 (not so sure), then with some decoding method, it should be changed into another 4 digits. While everyone is waiting and watching, the young lady takes her time to decide which is the right result, 7C11 or 711C. Strangely, somehow I could read her mind while she is considering these things.
Seeing the two results, everyone else, including the young lady, is greatly surprised, as if the code means something of a great deal. It is quite unbelievable that it should be shown just in front of them. In order to ease her shock and encourage “my future wife”, I decide to ensure her that her calculation is right. I point at the “11” at 711C in big letters on the paper and speak to her with a loud voice: “Grace, grace and much grace.”
That does it. Everyone now knows this is really happening. While speaking, I know what I am saying is from God and this number is destined to be assigned to me. Also I am also fully aware the unprecedented nature of the occasion.
Astonished, the young lady points me to the corner area, acting as if in a dream. Then she collects herself a bit and begins to assign others in our line to that direction as well.
Surveying it around, I recognize that this dinning area has never been used before. The only dinning place that has ever been used is the other room behind the wall. With everyone looking at me in obvious amazement, I walk to it with a natural confidence that I do not ever see in my real person.
As I approach the food section laid out like in a buffet and begin to pick up my food, I realize that the food I am about to partake is all new recipes or “new food”. They are totally different from what have been served in the other dinner section.
An older chief is now waiting on me. He has never served anyone before even he is one of the best. He is obviously very excited. He has to make some effort to hold himself together, so he can perfectly fulfill his long-waited duty for the first time.

- As I paused with my writing between the two sections, I felt led to ask the Lord what the code is about. He told me to think it again. Suddenly, I recognized that 711C is the reversed order of our apartment number in Desert Hot Springs, CA, C#117.
Earlier today, we celebrated brother B. M.’s special achievement by dining out. He was able to procure all 3 teacher certificates in California even without ever having any teaching experience. As we came back, I looked at the number on our door and I was prompted to think that the number has some significance (1+7=8 etc.). I could not believe what I just heard, not to make too much of my own life. Then I asked the Lord for a confirmation. And He gave me Psm. 98 (1+1+7=9, 1+7=8).

I know that the announcement of “grace, grace, much grace” has to do with Zech. 4. Recently I revisited the feeding of 5,000 and 4,000 in Jesus’ ministry. After that, He asked the disciples: “how many basketful of bread you picked up?”. They answered him: “12 and 7.” Interestingly of the 12 disciples, only 11 remained faithful. Psm. 109 mentioned the fate of Judas. I just read it yesterday.

I now understand, from the Lord, that the old chief in the dream is no other than Melchizedek of the ancient, whose ministry of the torch or lampstand, thus the altar, was passed on to Abraham shortly after their amazing encounter.
