While resting a bit in the afternoon, I had a very interesting dream. The Lord prompted me to write it down…
This afternoon, during a teaching time, I was sharing with a few folks that even after I had moved to America, I had to learn to get acquainted with American ways of life. And even though I was well situated in my life in a foreign land, I was not necessarily an integral part of this new nation. I had not learnt the heart and the practices of the order and law (constitution, etc.) of this nation. When I don’t even know how to be a common citizen, surely I am far from being qualified to be the President of this nation. Using this as an example, I tried to show the different stages of our walk and life in the Kingdom of God.
In light of such a notion, it is interesting to ponder the reason why the Lord would give me such a dream…:)
It is a very short dream… I was in a mansion or something, and I think another brother was with me. We were somehow allowed to stand aside in an office or study, watching President George W. Bush sitting at a desk, busily planning something. People were coming in and out. Everyone went to him for decisions and arrangements and things of various details. He was very serious, making sure that everyone would do what he sent them out to do, and do it efficiently. Suddenly, I recognized that the day was December 12, 2011- in the recent past. It was the day that he was preparing a ceremony for his young daughter to be married. Somehow, I heard that the name “Laura,” was mentioned. I did not see her, nor did I know who she was.
I was a bit confused and felt awkward just standing there, though I did recognize that I was assigned to be there. I was assigned to watch him closely so that I could learn everything about how to give a wedding ceremony for a young lady. Knowing that I was assigned there by the Lord, I then asked Him how it happened that I was at this occasion that already took place, and why should I be here anyway. He answered me promptly: “So that you can learn to help me to prepare a wedding ceremony as a dignitary in the near future.” While in the dream, I suddenly remembered that in some dreams that I had had before, I was preparing a feast for my own wedding as a commoner. But this time was different- I would have to learn to prepare the wedding in a royal way.
I have no clue, even now, how I am related to the young lady whose wedding I will have to help with. But I think she is the daughter of my Father, should be my sister….
