The World
- Nuclear war in Ukraine? (Kiv?)
- Terrorist attack in US? Houston?
- Famine and water shortages on a larger scale; even in the developed world
- Major natural disasters: earthquakes, eruptions, hurricanes and blizzards, with larger scales and greater frequencies. This will hamper the economies and add to the stress of many nations’ financial stability.
- War between India and Pakistan, the purge of Muslims in India by Hinduism extremism
- Nations divided: China, Israel, US, UK, Kenya, South Africa, and many other nations; this will lead to a generation of ambitious leadership to engage in new levels of power struggles, eventually conflicts and wars among the nations.
- War -> Famine -> Collapse of many economies
- The world order after WWII will collapse. A time of chaos will lead to more world wide conflicts and devastations. This will then lend the stage for the antichrist to emerge and bring about a new unity and a new order in the name of man’s justice and world peace. Financial system, political system then cultural norms will be replaced by new ones.
Christianity
- Major denominations worldwide will lose its flocks, eventually leads to implosions due to the corruptions from within and pressures from without.
- Extreme practices and activisms by the “right-wingers” will more than tarnish the sanctity of the name of Christianity, but bring on discredit and persecution to even the whole Christianity. The spillway to the extreme right will lend itself to be the arms and warm beds of fascism or extreme nationalism of different stripes. Civil unrest and civil wars will result.
- Christianity will be “ousted” from the mainstream in the western culture, while begin to take root and flourish in the “third world”. Secularism and humanistic ideals will occupy the forums and media of its general cultural and political superstructures. Mindful of this sign: would churches or religious organizations be taxed or not.
- False prophets, false teachers and false messiahs will pop up like wild flowers and quickly wither. A great time of apostasy.
- Membership of Christianity will drastically dwindle away. Many denominations will die out. A great time of falling away.
