Benji shared an alarming dream he had the night before. He felt led to relate to me because I mentioned mad dogs in the morning.
He saw us as a group were traveling thru a jungle. We had fought a white and a black dog before. But this time, two bigger ones were approaching us viciously, intended to do harm.
While listening to it, I had the impression that the white and the black might represent the normal trick of the devil preying on human mind: who (what) is right or who (what) is wrong.
Be extremely careful with the entanglement thru familiar or unguarded relationships where the devil will use deceived souls to cast thoughts or rationals of doubt and argument from a heart of unbelief and rebellion. It is a demonic spirit like a mad dog. We must learn to either to put it down or not engage it. Never reason with demons.
What God closed, let no man open it.
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’
Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
Matthew 7:21-24 NIV
“I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world.
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world.
On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
You are judging by appearances. If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ, they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do. So even if I boast somewhat freely about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed of it.
We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.
We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the sphere of service God himself has assigned to us, a sphere that also includes you.”
2 Corinthians 10:2-8, 12-13 NIV
“So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.
Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.
He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”
2 Peter 3:14-18 NIV
Be on the alert with this holiday season. The spiritual environment and forces in this nation especially amongst the nominal Christianity will go from bad to worse. Disillusionment, exacerbation, and exhaustion will embitter and devour many of those unenlightened or conceited. Rage, rebellion and extreme cruelty will grip many hearts. We are not far from entering into the days of gross darkness. Those who have built their spiritual life on sand or shaky foundations will be found out.
For everything there is a season. This is the season to enter and possess the things the Lord opened and will open for us. (Passover) It seems be in haste; but not really, for the Lord has called us and prepared us for this time of great spiritual break thru. It is the inheritance or grace of true sonship and genuine discipleship thru Apostolic Ministry. God’s forerunners will always need to be a prophetic and apostolic people.
Remember once the Ark is lifted from Jorden. The flood came back to the river. This signifies the doing away of wilderness (mind of orphan) then the culture of Egypt (mind of slavery). Spiritual circumcision is a must for functioning spiritual alignment and victory.
Be aware of those walk and promote the spirit and the works of lawlessness. It is one thing to be ignorant, it is totally another to be rebellious. To the first, God will want us to have patience and forgiveness; to the latter, separation or subjugation. Humanistic love will always try to rear up its serpent head when we war against the spirit of the world on this front.
The clear contrast is well depicted by Brother Andy’s vision yesterday.
Either we are excited to receive the scroll of our destiny from the river of life; or we will treat it as a recipe of human happiness unaware the serpent is ready to struck on the unaware and foolish ones.
One of good sign to spot those who are canal and worldly, therefore easier a prey for the devil, is to discern and detect the heart and the way how they receive and relate to those walk in the prophetic and those who seek the Lord in purity and earnest.
The flesh always wars against the spirit. The way of Marsha always wants to overshadow the heart of Mary. Man is impressed by busy bodies; but God only desires us to hear and obey. What a blessing that we have the prophetic ones with us so we can learn to truly hear and truly obey!
It took almost 40 years for God’s chosen to learn one simple lesson: hear and obey. So never allow anyone especially those in leadership roles to easily dismiss or show contempt towards the prophetic; for us as a leadership to do so or allow such an attitude to prevail is a grave sin, which will encourage pride, presumption, waywardness and stubbornness in the midst of the people of God.
Prophetic is not an enhancement to the apostolic; it is the other wheel or leg in terms of ascertaining God’s direction and leadership. That’s the Prophetic were always a check and a counsel for the Kings of old in the OT. It seems obvious to me that if a king refused to seek the help of the true prophetic, there will always be some unhealthy reason. Either he is slow to hold himself accountable or he is contemptuous or foolish in terms of obeying God’s will.
May the Lord bless us that we will never allow such an attitude not mention such practices be unchecked in our midst.
