Lineage from Above
There is no lineage mentioned in the Bible regarding Melchizedek, the King of Salem and Priest of God. His significance is that he represented the eternal covenant of God, which is not of earthly origin.
Natural lineage has no relevancy in the Spirit of God. Melchizedek represents a spiritual lineage, a genealogy of man being transformed into sons of God. Melchizedek also represents a governmental order, designed to produce true peace, justice, and prosperity for God’s people.
