Restoration of Love
12/24/24
Who can hear? Who can perceive the yearning of the Bridegroom for His Bride come back to the sacred and intimate dwelling where all things began. He beckons us return to the source of our being, where we knew this Love and were chosen to be in Him before the foundation of the world, holy, blameless and united in perfect Love.
The restoration of first love holds the highest position above all others. First in our eternal being, before everything else. Both in measure and time. Our spirit can go back to its origin. That first love can change everything in our lives, giving us a new perception, a new reality.
“And in love he chose us before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence.”
Ephesians 1:4 TPT
To discover this ancient path, we must return to the garden within, where the essence of God flows as an unending fountain.
No longer outliers, standing detached from the whole, but heirs of the Kingdom, existing in the eternal I AM that I AM.
This is the foundation of our identity. Not our failures, nor our accomplishments, but by the eternal decree of our creator God, who is in all things.
“For from Him [all things originate] and through Him [all things live and exist] and to Him are all things [directed]. To Him be glory and honor forever! Amen.”
Romans 11:36 AMP
As we journey, we must first be stripped of every dirty garment. The layers of self-sufficiency, guilt, and striving that obscure the simplicity of devotion to Christ, must be removed. The Lord would have His people stand before Him unadorned, clothed only in the righteousness of the meek sacrificial Lamb.
“Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakable kingdom we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. For our God is a holy, devouring fire!”
Hebrews 12:28-29 TPT
It is not in our own works or effort that we are brought near, but by the pouring out of our own life, (life is in the blood) where the depths of His love and devotion are revealed in all things. It’s a life exchange.
But, in this place, nothing causes separation from His love and purpose. All things work for the good, restoring us to that delightful place of complete union IN God Himself. No longer do we have to concern ourselves with the situations of the hour, for we can rest in His intentional leading.
The restoration of this way is narrow, requiring faith to step out of the familiar and into the unknown. In this abandonment to His will, we discover the depths of His love, for it is in our weakness that His strength is perfected within us.
As we rest in His presence, the Spirit begins to draw us into the secret place, where His voice is heard and His glory is revealed. In this holy chamber, the oil of first love is poured out, igniting the lamp of the heart to burn brightly once again, intimately embodying His very nature.
“But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future]. He will glorify and honor Me, because He (the Holy Spirit) will take from what is Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Because of this I said that He [the Spirit] will take from what is Mine and will reveal it to you.”
John 16:13-15 AMP
“And we have come to Jesus who established a new covenant with his blood sprinkled upon the mercy seat; blood that continues to speak from heaven, “forgiveness,” a better message than Abel’s blood that cries from the earth, “justice.”
Hebrews 12:24 TPT
Do not treat the things that the Lord has set apart as holy as common. Just as an animal sacrificed had to be set apart and holy, so does our life, our blood, belong to God, who is the giver of life.
The Bread of Life, doing the will of the Father is not common. Thus, our very lives have to be drained out and offered to God on the alter. This is the way of love.
“And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own.”
Romans 8:17 TPT
“We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love he has for us. God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them.”
1 John 4:16 TPT
Though humanity has wandered far from this holy estate, the Bridegroom does not abandon His bride, but restoration is at the very center of His heart, not desiring that anything or anyone should remain separated or lost.
The veil of separation has been torn, and the Bridegroom approaches His bride with tender devotion, declaring, “You are Mine and I AM yours.”
As His bride we declare, “…I found the one I adore! I caught him and fastened myself to him, refusing to be feeble in my heart again. Now I’ll bring him back to the temple within where I was given new birth— into my innermost parts, the place of my conceiving.”
Song of Songs 3:4 TPT
In His presence, all things are made new. This restoration is not for ourselves alone, but for the fulfillment of God’s eternal purpose in all created things, which instinctually groans for the Sons of God to reveal His perfect love.
“This means that, contrary to man’s perspective, the Lord is not late with his promise to return, as some measure lateness. But rather, his “delay” simply reveals his loving patience toward you, because he does not want any to perish but all to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9 TPT
Only because of God’s love can we repent and submit everything under the ordered restoration of all things. The mysteries that were once hidden will continually be unveiled. This life found only in Christ, becomes a triumphant testimony of the power of His perfect love. One that bears witness to all of creation and compels all to this love.
Hear the call to return. The door is open, the invitation given.
“I will take your hand and lead you into a deeper understanding of My Kingdom. The box you have lived in is gone. The scenery of your life is changing. Do not focus on the walls before you, for they will vanish. What seems insurmountable will dissolve as you move forward. My light burns away the false identities and burdens that have long weighed you down, revealing the glory of your true inheritance as heirs of the Kingdom. Trust in Me, and you will overcome and rise above.”
“The one I love calls to me: Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me. For you are my dove, hidden in the split-open rock. It was I who took you and hid you up high in the secret stairway of the sky. Let me see your radiant face and hear your sweet voice. How beautiful your eyes of worship and lovely your voice in prayer. You must catch the troubling foxes, those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship. For they raid our budding vineyard of love to ruin what I’ve planted within you. Will you catch them and remove them for me? We will do it together.”
Song of Songs 2:10-15 TPT
Let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may be renewed in the fire of His love and take our place in His divine plan. For this is the hour of preparation, the day of the Lord’s visitation. May we not shrink back, but press onward into the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
