If God permits a son to enter into maturity, that does not mean that the Lord’s work of the transformation of that son’s life is complete. It means that at that point a son is allowed to enter into the way of perfection. He has entered into the Lord’s counsel so that His perfection may begin. In contemporary Christianity, it is often misunderstood that once we are permitted to enter that the work of maturity is already done. This is simply not the case. There is great disorder that is brought into the Lord’s House and great damage done to his people as immature believers begin to take on roles before they have been taught and entrusted with the Lord’s work. Just because one has been allowed to enter in does not mean they are entrusted. A new level of training begins to ready one for entrustment. Once entrusted, yet another level of training begins to carry out the business of the Father in that entrustment. It is a process that man must endure patiently, adhering to God’s way in the metting out of this process and His timing. Immanuel Sun and Tim Pinson, Jr. talk about this in today’s meeting.
Tim also completes Chapter 12, “The Body of Christ and Our Roles in It,” of The Seed series in this meeting. Tim also talks about the tendency of man to look at God’s kingdom as just another earthly kingdom. The mindsets surrounding the crusades are still very much with us today. We can see this in man’s deceived belief that the upcoming presidential election involving a government of man can somehow be able to solve the world’s problems. The role of the Body of Christ has to be in the context of God’s eternal purpose in creation. It has no other fulfillment.
