God’s fatherhood as explained in the NT:
Fatherhood of God, like sonship of Jesus Christ, is not modeled after man’s many stations and characters of life. It is rather the opposite, it is the source of all relationships and lives.
- Fatherhood as the head or the source of all things
- Fatherhood as the heavenly reality or divine order of life and government
The revelation of God the Father through His Son
In the time of the Passover, Jesus began to introduce in greater clarity to the disciples of the Father and commanded them into a life of sonship in Him as a Family member, or heir, of God the Father. It is evidently this veil of understanding the hindered the disciples of that time still is working today and in us.
The author of Hebrew, in introducing this revelation of God the Father through Christ Jesus, His Son, emphasized two things about God the Father: His power or glory (majesty) and His divine nature or being. Evidently, this designation offers us more clarity about the two aspects of the ministry of the Church. That is the Kingdom Culture and the Family Culture of God.
