The Family Culture of God
In these times of great evil, the Lord is raising up a standard through his remnant. In this time we must learn to abide in the presence of the Lord and seek our shelter under his wings. But we have a mission within the world to express the Father’s wisdom. At the same time, we cannot hide or shrink back from the world. Immanuel Sun opens a topic through the sharing of a dream of what it means to be washed by “the river” and the Lord’s intent for our lives that we eventually become that “river” for the purpose of cleansing others. This is the primary meaning behind the ministry of the word of God.
Immanuel also talks about the care we must exercise in the tendency of man to assume they already know what it’s like to walk in the ways of the Lord. Immanuel has often used an example of a garden. Just because one may be able to look through a window at the garden and describe what is seen there, that is a very different reality from actually being planted in the garden and having direct interaction with, and care from, the gardener.
Later in the meeting Immanuel Sun opens a new teaching series about the family culture of God. God has always intended to have a family. In so doing, God assigned himself into roles that is the source of all roles related to family. In this his ordinance and his dealings with man are designed to reveal, through family relationships, his perfect plan. Ultimately, the eternal plan of God is to have a family of sons. This intent undergirds all ways in which God deals with us. Through the education by God of His idea of family to his sons, His kingdom is revealed, and in Him, the two converge together. A royal family or priesthood is established. Immanuel Sun expounds on these topics in this evening’s meeting.
