Immanuel Sun starts off the meeting talking about the necessity for us to get fully on board with what God is doing, forsaking all else that is in the way of His will. The voices that are speaking discouragement to us are that of the enemy and must be identified as such and ignored. Through a heart of repentance we become teachable to learn, by the Spirit, how to walk in son consciousness and not sin consciousness.
Tim Pinson, Jr. opens by talking about the difference between being saved and being set apart for the work of God. There is a huge difference. Just because one is saved does not mean they are also approved by God to carry out His work. This is one of the biggest misconceptions of most believers in the Church today. This misconception leads to some of the biggest hinderances in the fellowship of the saints. The things of God are rarely a one-time experience. Our salvations is worked out. To be saved is not only to be forgiven for sin. It is a process. One of the greatest fallacies in the Church today is the misconception of the doctrine of once saved, always saved. Do we understand that death is a principle and not a punishment? Tim expounds these topics as we begin our study of the Foundational Teachings series starting with Part 1 of “The Latter House and the Order of the New Covenant.”
