Matured Sonship in God Through Genuine Repentance and Discipleship
When we are born again into God’s kingdom as a spiritual son, we are promised an inheritance from God. However, we are not entrusted in the business of God’s house until we are disciplined by the Father to carry it out in his way.
This process is imparted to a son through discipleship, the kind of discipleship that was engaged by Jesus, through the Order of Melchizedek, not that which is typical in the mainstream church of today. Once we are disciplined by the father, then we are approved to carry out our role as a priest and king in his way of righteous rule.
Maturity in God’s household has nothing to do with human terms and ways. This maturity has one standard, and that is the life of Christ Jesus as a son of God from a son of man. The ones who inherited this new name from God will become the church of the firstborn.
In today’s meeting, Immanuel expounds on the nature of the two offices of kingship and priesthood under the Order of Melchizedek, and also what these offices are not in comparison to the teachers in Jesus’ day and presently in our time.
