Please excuse the form of my writing below. These are merely my notes that I never intended to share. I wrote them back in April, however in light of recent stirrings, I was reminded of these concepts and felt they may be worth exploring together.
In Revelation 5
– someone creates the seal and someone is supposed to break it open
– only the person who is meant to open it, can break the seal.
We are being renewed (in the process of the seals being open)
Seals and scrolls are in the arena of God’s work in the inner man.
-Psalm 24 -who can ascend to the high heavens of God?
Scroll represents man’s life- the crown of God’s creation. He is only worthy and able to unlock this inner work, because He laid His life down to the will of the Father.
This righteous judgment must be poured out in His Devine order- only this can open the seals
God wants to bring this alignment back in the midst of His people
-Hebrews 2:8-everything has not been subject to man yet
-we have been made low for a time so that we will be able to rise up- worthy to sit at the right hand of God
-He makes men holy by opening up those unsealed places. This is not an easy trip. Jesus will show us how to bring death where He wants to implement life.
This takes power, work, labor – all which take place through discipleship relationships.
-when discipleship finds its place and functions in it – when the sacrifice is made and the intention is complete- Gods glory shines in.
God wants us to move in. He wants to lead us into it (apostles)
Christ died to show us how to die and also lead us to raise and overcome. You can’t overcome death if you don’t die.
The life of Christ in us, is a resurrection life.
If God is not unlocking the seals in my life- then He isn’t a part of me.
This is the high cost of discipleship. He didn’t preach that everything will be easy. The only thing he preached is the cross, which is death.
The resurrected life gives us a taste of the goodness of God- the glory of His presence, the depth of his love. (We have been made to be a new spiritual creature)
This is an encouragement to move into a greater expression of God’s work in us.
Seals are terrible judgment on the flesh of man, but they are meant to produce something beautiful in the heart of man as a result- allowing the maturity of the new spiritual man.
Torah, law, the instructions- are given to show us how to be a son- teach us how to be a wise, honorable people.
How to rightly relate to others in godly love.
The world will see us when we rightly relate to others in this way. It is a process- impartation of life, death of self life and a reproduction of life.
-discipleship-this process opens the seals- allowing the Lord to come inside and do His work within me.
Jesus didn’t come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it.
The last final entrusting of Christ- He committed His spirit, THEN He was put in a place where everything is made new.
We need to take caution and care when we receive relationships. We can’t touch this process outside of God’s leading and assignment.
Where has the church mislead God’s people? In relationship. Where anyone holds on to dogma- he will not have a right relationship.
These relationships need to have godly love, honor, and meekness. Do justly, love mercy, walk humbly. This is to produce something.
Is what I’m doing, in the name of the Lord, going to bring alignment in the heavenly realm?
Is this kind of love being expressed in God’s people?
This love is what makes the bride purified and ready to call her lover. He will come and bring alignment with a God’s timing and present day purpose.
He made this alignment available- we need to walk into the process of opening the seals within us. It’s a corporate operation. Let’s be trained in it and by it. If we stumble, we won’t fall. We will be upheld by the right hand of God. Perfection is in the process, not the circumstance or outcome.
The fire of God’s discipline – it’s painful, but it is transformative. We can take the hand of our fellow brother and walk through the flame – and experience the joy of transformation.
Main things kingdom/ people/ generation do.
- Teach the the gospel of the kingdom
- Teach them how to be a Son (discipleship)
The work of repentance leads to death and produces a new way of life.
Culture
-can only come to fruition if it is swept clean of these lawless people
Isaiah 8- the remedy is discipleship
Isaiah 26:7, 28:7
Important questions in searching within…
What inspires you?
What was do you identify with?
What identifies you?
You do not want to be independent. It’s a wrong way to do culture. (I’m reminded of my Cathedral culture vision- independent activities lead to nothing- building legos that are only a fake replica of what God wants to build)
We represent something.
We are part of something God designed for human culture.
A son should be able to find identity in God’s culture
-this is sealed with God’s approval
-but, it takes a heart agreement with a desire to be exposed of any impurity, intimately taught by the Father and lead into a covenant of everlasting life. Life that produces life.
You can’t think of life in a partial/ segmented way. You can’t use one spectrum of thinking. You can’t compare to the culture of the world.
We have to learn to get rid of the trash in the culture (my vision in the cathedral)
Sonship can not be done independently- sonship is the word for culture. (Rightly relating to one another)
-He will teach us how to represent His kingdom. We will be a people of wisdom and understanding.
Young people- what you learn is far beyond the subject matter.
-as a people, we relate in culture together and not merely doing skills only. This life of sonship should not be separate from every day life. It is not something we do, but a living moment by moment reality in every place our feet are led.
-Don’t play Lego games. Get your hands dirty, pull thorns out of the garden. (Anything that doesn’t measure up to His standard of righteousness.)
You are not the world. Your emotions are not that important. You do it for God and for God’s people. Your interests and concerns are drawn from a different place. DIE to your own desires. This has nothing to do with an individual.
-get rid of the spiders in your house. This is our house, our mess.
We need to overcome an orphan mind culture.
I am a son of my Father, my family and my community. I have a duty to grow in responsibly and sacrifice for the culture.
– This always puts the needs of the culture above your own.
-orphan spirit is more than a personal spirit- it’s more over arching than that
-we are to become royal priests, imprinted with the fathers desires. We volunteer for the father’s will, not our own.
-How do we do relationships?
- your sonship has a lot to do with how you carry out relationships
- Brotherly love means we live in a family setting. This doesn’t come from our own identity- rather we are all sons of God, learning to foster God’s culture together.
- Brotherly love morphs into God’s love
- We volunteer the Fathers will, heart and purpose
- Matthew 13
- Identity comes from your source of wisdom. Be careful what you consume.
- We no longer enter into a way of life that ends in death, but rather God’s culture that sanctifies.
- I Corinthians 8:11 – conscience – puts you into different categories of believers – the inner man needs to be a holy sanctuary for the Lord
- Hebrews 9 – the apostle’s job is to sanctify the people with a clean conscience.
- This work is done in the spirit, not mentally
- If your own conscience is weak and not sanctified, that is an unclean life
- A spiritual death must take place
- Our physical body will wither away, but inwardly we have a glory as we put these unclean things to death. (A choice)
- Matthew 13 – hidden from Isaiah 8- this is how we are made holy
- Who will do this culture of God with me? Your own family may option out, from their own choice.
- Who ever does my fathers work in heaven- those are your family.
- Be a builder of the house- be careful what you build the house out of. Solomon’s wisdom (intellectual wisdom) doesn’t compare to this.
We need to intuitively call each other (especially our kids) sons of God
-this impact may seem insignificant at first, but it builds a consciences in them.
This is a spiritual agreement first, and then becomes a mental agreement.
Look at each other’s face in the light of God. What does He see in others? What is the landscape of the garden?
This kind of work will sanctify us- but won’t always make us feel good. If you want a son’s life- this is a turning key to open up your living well within.
Be a son- the Holy Spirit will tell you what to do.
Father – what is your will? What do you want me to do?
Cut off the religious, murky things.
We are freed into His pattern of life. Discipline yourself in this. THEN , all the heavenly blessings will be given to us.
-don’t put the cart before the horse or you will be confused and cause disorder in the body.
You will fall short, but you are always in an ascension mode. (Headed on the right path.)
Freedom and peace are in this process, on this path. We never worry about where we are going and if God is with us or not.
Weak members will never move forward. He wants us to move forward.
I’m reminded of a vision (I think one of Nicole’s)
-foggy highway covered in snow and in a blizzard
-guy on the side of the road with a back pack.
-had a light with a map (Lord of the rings type map)
-fresh piece of old paper wrote “in between” on the paper
-mountains (Jerusalem and Zion)
-astronaut plants a scroll (this wasn’t supposed to happen)
-walks in the word “in between” something alien comes from it and changes who is carrying it. A royal carriage is now carrying the scrolls
Out of the mountain came an old woman- she was too weak to climb the mountain
-steps opened up onto the mountain – the woman is going to ascend the mountain
-Isaiah – desolate woman
-transition of what is carrying the arc (the inner desires of the heart)- astronaut, carriage and then man.
- only when the arc is placed on the shoulders of the man is the bride revealed, but her condition needs to be change. The woman is religion. In no way- in that condition -can she ascend.
- The arc is the apostolic ministry that puts the heart in a position so the bride can ascend and be purified.
The man child (Son company) comes to support the woman in the wilderness where the dragon has perused her.
-some people have the map (blueprint) and they get to observe what is happening
- God is going to make things known – he will bring to light the motives of men’s hearts – at that time- each will receive his praise from God
- Because they will faithful to their assignment. It’s a heavy burden- but it is about entrustment
- In this time, the mountain of the Lord is rising up. We have not ascended it yet.
- Two mountains (coming together of Gods purpose in times past and what he is doing now. What was fortified before will come again. But now God has a set apart people (remnant). This is a renewing of an ancient way.
Discipleship, culture, relationship.
To He who is faithful in the small things, more will be given.
