The Root of Judah
In today’s meeting Immanuel Sun talks about the need for God’s people to rise up in faith in the wisdom of God by confronting fear and unbelief. Immanuel uses examples of David’s life to illustrate how he sincerely believed the promises of God and boldly went forth doing the Lord’s work in that wisdom. After all, if your name is written in the book of heaven, what can the devil do to you? You either believe in God’s sovereign power over your life (and the devil), or you don’t. If you don’t, you can’t be a son of God. You’ve disqualified yourself.
We must, as a people of God, sign onto the bigger vision God has for us. Do you want to be a mere man with riches in the household, or do you want to be a king over the whole land? God wants us to receive our inheritance. He wants us to be kings and priests. If our vision of God’s plan for us is like a man crying out in the desert for mana, then we’ve missed the greater vision of God’s plan. Such a mindset is in the position of a slave. It is a “low place” in God’s plan. While we all must be reborn in the midst of this broken place, God never expected us to permanently reside there within our hearts. Immanuel Sun expounds on these realities in today’s meeting.
