I took a walk for some quiet time. After a first round (which is about half an hour), the Lord urged me to invite a brother, who lives in the apartment upstairs, to walk with me for another round. So we did. He was praying for bread, and I had the urge to have dinner with him after the walk. The peace of God fell on us, and we were speechless – content to enjoy simply His love and peace.
Then Brother B shared a dream. He was reminded of obedience, as in the dream he relayed, he was “welled up,” or upset for some reason, trying to argue with me for a certain understanding.
After sitting down in my place, we remained quiet before the Lord for some time. Then I had this vision, like seeing a movie at a distance. It came out as a series of blurry images with the base colors of shiny red and gold. Suddenly, a window was open and my sight began to be drawn to a scene shown inside of it.
Firstly, I saw vaguely a cluster of things from the upper edge of the scene. As I looked at it closely, I recognized them as temples, buildings, houses and streets, etc. – appeared to be a good sized city.
The whole thing was upside down, hanging from the top of the scene. I was very puzzled by it, and I earnestly wanted to look at it more clearly. Then, it was as if my sight was zoomed in, and I found out a more startling thing: It appeared that the city was not a city at all, but only a cut-out in the sky – under which a forest with a range of mountains beyond it that extends out to the horizon.
As I was staring at the forest, I was remembering Brother B’s dream of me as a friendly bear being taken captive by one on a white horse into a forest or something. I also thought of my discussion with Brother Larry of a journey into the forest in one of my own dreams, and a voice in the back of my head whispered to me, as if saying: “Yes, you will reach unto my glory.” Again, the phrase “the glory of Lebanon,” came to me.
Then suddenly, in the middle of the upper part of the scene where the city was, there appeared two Chinese characters “极限”, which means, “the utter-most limit.” I was even more puzzled. As I was wondering what this means, more Chinese characters began to pop out and line up as in a flashing of a movie subtitle, saying, “这需要勇气,” which means, “this takes courage.”
