I was reading a writing from Duane Stewart (a dear elder brother with much wisdom). In his writing, he referred to 2 Timothy 3:1-5, “But know this, that in the last day’s perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such turn away!”
I immediately closed my eyes and began to confess any remaining trace of these rebellious things in my own life and having a great desire for purity before the Father. With my eyes closed, I saw a vertical strand of DNA slowly spinning in the darkness before me and the Lord immediately said, “I am changing your DNA.”
End of Vision
In these “last days” we must hold fast to the promise/covenant of our God and Father; that He Himself will renew our hearts and minds having made us a new creation (born anew) and conforming/maturing us to His image and likeness. He will FINISH what He has started and He will call it very good.
The strand of DNA reminds me of the depth and completeness/fullness of this change that the Lord is working in His sons. It is through and through, so that He can be all in all. Change the DNA and you change the WHOLE being!
Bless the Lord for His mighty and marvelous power at work within us! Believe!… and you will be saved!
