A few days ago, I had a vision. While wrestling in the spirit (I suspect it was more than in my flesh, but in the heavenlies as well…) the enemy sometimes comes like a flood. I asked God for understanding and for hope. He gave me this vision. It has three parts, which I know are representative of three stages of what is to come:

I see a mighty sword, blazing with fire, that stands between heaven and earth. It is so long and wide and I could not detect how long it is on either end, or how wide on either side. What I can see is just a column of fire, with blazing metal in it. It splits heaven and earth. It seems that a river of burning fire is flowing down along the sword that has opened a path in between. Now, I hear a voice informing me that this sword is me. I am very surprised as to the terrifying power of the sword. It is unthinkable to me that I could be such a sword. People had seen me as a sword splitting heaven open when I lay prostrate on the floor before. But I never imagined that it was such a terrifying scene. To see it myself, it was a very unsettling thing.
My spirit seems to be one with this sword. Then I feel wicked beings at my right and my left, who are accusing me or speaking evil of me. It irritates me to a point that I (my person) want to walk up and confront them; but what I see is the sword lowering itself down horizontally and it is wielded to the left, and then the right, and smashes everything. Everything that is touched turns into smoke and disappears completely. Now, I am totally astonished by the power of this sword, and puzzled as to how to cope with it.
- While still feeling puzzled, I see this sword of fire flying in between heaven and earth, as if taking an easy tour. Suddenly, many eagles appear from below. As if already knowing what to do, they fly together toward the blade of the sword and rest on it. I remember I feel puzzled why they dare to do so, because it seems that the sword would burn them to death. Yet they cling to it as if they had come to their nesting place. I hear the Lord telling me that these eagles have gone through His fire. Thus they would rather enjoy the fire on the sword.The sword, with the eagles like little ants dotting it, makes it’s way speedily in the sky from east to west.

The next moment, I see the sword transformed into an eagle as well, and as if the others grow into equal size, they now become one flock. The pattern they form together is different from the one I saw when I dreamt of going to meet the Lord in mid-air with others. Instead, they lined up as a “V” shape, with me at the tip, and they formed a triangle or arrowhead. There are 30-40 eagles behind me, flying to the east.
