“You’re Destiny – God’s Will and Purpose”
Chapter Eleven
“The Priest/Kings of the Lord”
With the clouds of change gathering for what the scriptures have declared to be the last days, the different camps of belief, those of different understandings, are all prepared to see their doctrines fulfilled. With each camp-standing firm in their creeds, the winds of God’s Holy Spirit are on the increase. Winds that shall, in strength, shake everything that they can shake. Every house that man built on the sandy foundation of man made doctrines and understandings shall fall, to cause only the truth to remain. For the appearing of the Christ is now come. At His appearing, with Christ revealed, a full word of restoration is to be spoken. Judgment shall burn up all the wood, hay, and stubble of man’s own doctrines, to release God’s kingdom government of deliverance, an order that shall eventually set the captives free. The truth, spoken through and manifested from God’s spokespersons, His priesthood, shall restore the creation of God back to its full purpose. All that has been out of balance, because of the fall of man, is to know restoration. Hence, in its restoration, God shall be overall. Herein, every enemy shall be defeated and put under foot as God and His Christ shall reign.
Who is this Priesthood company spoken of here? God has spoken to us of a branch “out of the root of Jesse,” King David’s father. This branch shall mature until it is filled with the seven-fold spirit of God as spoken of in Isa. 11:2-3, “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord;”. The branch spoken of here is that many member “shoot”, a priesthood that is filled with God’s “seven-fold spirit. Thus with such an in-dwelling anointing, they shall come forth in the righteous judgment of God. Isa. 11:4-5 declares, “But with righteousness shall He judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked [lawless one]. And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and faithfulness the girdle of His rains.”
Again, who is the Priesthood being spoken of in these scriptures? Could they not be those who have had their faith tested and tried through the fire of God? These Priests are the chosen people of God who have remained faithful to Him because they have caught a glimpse of Him and the inheritance that is for them in the heavenlies, the dwelling places of God. Reading in 1 Peter 1:4-7 with joy we are told, “To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you. These are those who are kept by the power of God [the power of reproducing itself] through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed [to unveil to be visible to the eye] in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations, that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing [unveiling, revelation, manifestation, when used of a person it always denotes that he is visible] of Jesus Christ;”. Thus, we see a testing used to birth a people from the earth realm into the heavenlies. A company of Priest/Kings who stand in these last days, to minister unto God in His Holy of Holies, which is Gods abiding place within man. It is herein that He will make His appearance unto all humanity.
Here we can begin to see a people who, through the fires of adversity, brought to the place wherein all they are or have been is upon an altar unto God. We began to see a people who wait upon the Father to receive instructions concerning His will. All that is of an independent source is forsaken. They seek only the Father, to know and do only that which He does or that which He says. Even as the High Priest, Jesus Christ, these also freely declare as did Jesus in John 5:19-20, “Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, The son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things so ever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son and sheweth Him all things that Himself doeth: and He will show Him greater works than these that ye may marvel”. This is speaking of a ministry, a priesthood that shall cause the world to marvel. By becoming the manifested many member body of Christ, the priesthood, these purified overcomers, shall likewise see, and hear from the Father only. They, in obedience, shall do “the greater works than these shall ye do” ministry. A kingdom established and now ministered unto the nations, through this Priest/King Company of people.
The Priest/King ministry of these sons of God shall be the temple dwellers who reign with God from the Holy of Holies realm where God’s Shekinah glory abides. In Rev. 22:1-5, we see the environment of this dwelling place. “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manners of fruits, and yielding her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse [an accursed thing]: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him [those who minister unto Him, the Zadok, the Melchisedec priesthood]; and they shall see His face;…. and they need no candle [the holy place realm], neither light of the sun [the outer court realm]; for the Lord God giveth them light [Holy of Holies realm]; and they shall reign for ever and ever [to the ages of the ages]”. These priests, the man-child, the sons of God, by overcoming all that the fire can burn, shall be changed and enabled to dwell in this Holy of Holies, the place of God’s Shekinah glory. They shall rise up from dwelling in the flesh realm, the lower realms of the earth, to a dwelling place in the heavenlies, which is God’s abiding place. They shall walk no more after the dictates of the natural lights of the sun, moon, and stars. They shall move beyond the realm wherein the natural minds understanding exist. These shall desire no more the candlestick of the holy place realm, the soulish mixture that allows a people to receive only an in-part understanding, which comes from the shadows cast by the candlestick light.
Nothing will be left of the natural minds cravings, as all shall flow from the indwelling mind of Christ that is present in this priesthood. No darkness dwells there. There is no night of sickness, sin, or corruption. A company of priest shall know the fullness of Godliness as they move or mature into the realm of the seven-fold spirit of God. This realm is an order wherein the kingdom of God governs without any shadows. Herein the law of God, in a full measure is manifest through these Priest/Kings. From this throne room order of life, healing flows unto the people of the nations, as God’s government flows out to rule over His creation. As Jesus showed us to pray, “Thy kingdom come … on earth as it is in heaven”. Hence, God’s Shekinah glory comes. “Shekinah” is a word used to express the glory and presence of God to and in His people.
Who is this Melchisedec, Priest of the Most High God? What does it mean for a people to fulfill that priesthood order? (Read Hebrews the seventh chapter). In these scriptures, we see that the Melchisedec priesthood order far exceeds the Levitical priest in greatness. For the most part, the ministries we see operating in today’s Christian circles, only fulfill that of the Levitical order. Melchisedec is without reference to any human qualifications for the priest office. Melchisedec’s genealogy, not recorded as was so essential in the case of Aaron’s sons, the Levitical priesthood. Ordinary priests began their service at thirty, and ended it at fifty years of age. The high priest succeeded on the day of his predecessor’s death. However, with Melchisedec and the order he represents, there is no such dates recorded for it has neither beginning of days nor end of life. We only know that Melchisedec lived, and thus, He is a fitting type of those who shall live continually. Heb. 7:3 states, “Without father, without mother, without decent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually”. This is the priesthood order that supersedes and does away with the Levitical order. The Levitical order, as we see it operating in the earth today, among the religious orders, can make nothing perfect.
Could it be because they are priest who operate in that fleshly, carnal in-part realm? Could they be that ministry which follows the dictates of tradition and man’s doctrine instead of following the Holy Spirit and what He would lead them to do? Are they a ministry that follows the rituals and learned programmed services without considering the Holy Spirits leadership? However, God, from the eternities, before the creation of humanity, purposed to have for Himself a priesthood that would stand before Him and minister. They would go forth in God’s presence, unto all His creation, to establish and reign over the kingdom that would come of God Himself. Here, in what we deem from scripture to be the last days, God, in all His glory is birthing forth this priesthood company to fulfill that purpose. We can behold the fundamental church orders that exist in the earth today and look upon a dead passing order. The ministries of this passing order have been weighed in the balance and have been found wanting. They, of the Levitical order priest, have built idols of traditional understandings for the people to worship. They have rebelled against the revelation of God’s word, which makes a people free. They have erected prison houses of worship and made the members prisoners of those idols, which cater to the souls fleshly desires, the desires of the natural man that makes himself his own god. Nevertheless, God, according to his timing, is now stepping in to bring those manmade kingdoms down.
These two priesthood orders, spoken of in the book of Ezekiel as Ezekiel speaks to us of the different services that each priest order is to function in and the limit or unlimited boundaries of each order. These we see working in the church of today and God has set certain boundaries as the result of their rebelliousness. Ezek. 44:5-12a reveals, “And the Lord said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning the ordinances of the house of the Lord, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary. And thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel [what about the rebellion that is evident in many church circles and the people today, as to their continuous refusal to hear and receive the progressive revelation of God’s Word, as they continue to make idols out of old doctrines and traditions left by their forefathers?]. Thus saith the Lord God; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations, in that ye have brought into My sanctuary strangers [those ones not blood washed and abiding in the family of God], uncircumcised in heart [a heart that continues to covet the things of the Adam man and not turned to the ways of God], and uncircumcised in flesh [continually controlled or led by the lust of the flesh and does not follow the leading of the Holy Spirit], to be in My sanctuary, to pollute it [does the Holy Spirit have the place of rulership in our life?], even my house, when ye offer My bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken My covenant because of all your abominations. And ye have not kept the charge of Mine holy things; but ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves. Thus saith the Lord God; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel. And the Levites that are gone away far from Me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from Me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity. Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, have charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: They shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the People, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them. Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity:”
This word “iniquity” is a Hebrew word that means “crooked, wrong, perverseness.” Could it not be showing today’s Christian that worshipping idols takes a people off God’s straight and narrow pathway? God has always fully intended to bring forth a people unto His likeness and image. Maturity unto that place in God requires a progressive growth until “be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect”. Progressive revelation of God’s truth is for such growth, without which it causes or makes for a perverse order. Physical growth without mental growth produces perversion. When God’s people cease from moving on in enlightened truth, to build idols around the basic principles of the doctrines of Christ (read Heb. 6:1-3), it causes the people to fall into iniquity, thus a covenant with death which keeps the people from God’s progressive presence. “Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? In thy name cast out devils, done many wonderful works? Depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt. 7:22-23).
Hence, while ministers of the sanctuary only, they shall not, they and the people who follow them, enter into God’s Holiest of All presence. Ezek. 44:12b-14 continues, “Therefore have I lifted up Mine hand against them, saith the Lord God, and they shall bear their iniquity. And they shall not come near unto Me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place [Kept out of God’s throne room order]: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations, which they have committed. But I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein [house keeper ministries and not priest unto God]”. There is a ministry which shall continue to minister in the basic principles and ordinances of the church orders, but God shall go beyond the basics, to fulfill the fullness of God’s purpose. These have pressed onward into maturity, to know the full truth of God’s Word. This truth belongs to those who desire much more than the tickling of the ear, to those who desire much more than the dead idols of traditional enlightenment’s, to become a ministry that feeds the people in spirit, soul and body, not just to their fleshliness.
Who is this Melchisedec ministry? Where do they come from? Ezekiel speaks of them and their status before God as we read in Ezek. 44:15-19 (Read entire 44th chapter of Ezekiel). “But the priest, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to Me to minister unto Me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord God: They shall enter into My sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto Me, and they shall keep My charge. [Can we not see the ascension of the man-child of Rev. 12 revealed here? Ascending up from the earth realm, coming out of the realm of flesh, which cannot enter into God’s kingdom, to stand before God and minister to Him in His presence for the purposes of loving God that they might go forth unto the nations with the word and testimony of God being their life]. And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court they shall be clothed with linen garments [a change from the fleshly tabernacle of the Adam man to the spiritualized tabernacle received from the heavenlies]; and not wool [the flesh of the Adam man] shall come upon them, while they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within. They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins [unable to reproduce after the genealogy of the flesh man]; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causes sweat [they have come out from under the curse which was placed upon fallen man in Gen. 3:19 which states, “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread]”. And when they go forth into the utter [outer] court, even into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments and they shall not sanctify the People with their garments”. Do we see a Priesthood here that is not to know the limitations of the flesh? These, changed from the earthly Adam man with the ability to appear and depart at will as they come and go before the nations. These Priests shall put on the heavenly garment, the tabernacle that enables them to stand before God, as His ministers, ministering unto Him, to again go forth and stand before the nations and minister unto them the laws and government of the Kingdom of God.
Yes, there is much change-taking place in creation. A time has come when the whole world and all its systems, rather political, economical, or spiritual shake. God, bound by His Word, is releasing a new sound into the earth. Trumpeters are receiving instructions to sound out the revelation of their preordained purpose. An awakening is taking place as a priesthood is shaking itself awake, to be transformed to stand before God, to see His face and know His glory. In standing before God, they shall no longer be limited to an in-part order of truth. They shall no longer be limited to seeing in part and hearing in part, but they shall see Him face to face, seeing Him as He is. From this foreordained inheritance, the Priest of the Melchisedec ranks shall go forth to establish a kingdom without end. We all can give praises unto the Father for such a time as this. We shall know and see that for which all creation groans. (Read John 3:3-8 and 2 Cor. 5:1-5)
