Note by John Cochran:
From Passover to Tabernacles is a timely compilation of three sessions taught by Immanuel Sun during our Saturday morning fellowship meetings with our Brothers and Sisters in Bungoma, Kenya. Included within this post are links to the audio files for each session.
Note by Immanuel Sun:
These teachings are not “premeditated”, thus are not well planned. Interesting for me is that I only recognized in the middle of the discussion that we were engaging a topic quite relevant to the coming Passover season this very year according to the Jewish Calendar. Due to the spontaneity of these discussions, the topics are not well thought out and presented. Somehow, in retrospect, they seems to have a kind of coherence surprising even to me to recognize.
As to the theme itself, I don’t think we have touched upon a fresh topic. However, we may have come across some “new understandings” here and there on quite an “ancient topic”. There is a freshness, to me at least, springing out of “a living reality” that is detectable and thus registered to us as a fellowship. The Lord also graced us with some amazing and compelling visions and dreams during these times. They are included in the audio records as well.
Many have done an excellent job on expounding these wonderful topics. Please research and study them on your own. I would recommend just two, a teaching from brother George H. Warnock and another one from brother Charles Newbold Jr. I have reviewed them many years ago and really enjoyed them. Due to the nature the fellowship time and my lack of better engagement, the discussions we have here are not meant to be a study guide, unless you feel led to use them as such.
Session 1 is but an introduction. If you are not so interested, please bypass it. However, from Session 2 on, the discussions began to take more shape with the topic so titled here.
Some brothers and sisters in Kenya present expressed the desire to share these teachings with their individual fellowships. We want to make these audio files access to them first and foremost. Of course, if they are helpful to a greater audience, that would be a great blessing and encouragement to us….:)
Now, may the God of all grace and the Lord of all wisdom be with you! In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
