The Sanctification of the Word of God – Part 2
The primary focus of the priesthood under the Order of Melchizedek is about teaching the word of God. New revelations are not being taught here. What is being taught here are the basic foundations of the truth of God’s purpose his people. Our Father wants us to build up our children upon the foundations of his wisdom. There is nothing new in this as it relates to God’s original intention for his people and mankind as a whole. It is always man, in the counsel of the devil, who is persistently looking for another way to know God.
The greatest falacy of Charismatic leadership today is that they never consulted God in regard to his intended direction. They persist in assuming God will always move in the excitement of something new. Therefore, there is this endless quest for another movement of God, stirred up by a whirlwind of activity, assuming God will repeat what he has done in previous seasons. This is not what God is doing. We must agree to shut out people from our spiritual lives who insist on pursuing God in this way. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is not free to move in the midst of this mindset.
The way of God is not a movement. We should not require the miracles, signs and wonders to receive this love from him. We should also be careful not to expect of others a prolonged patience with our wretchedness. We need to make a wholehearted effort to believe in the life of Jesus and the wealth of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is a messenger of a new life and kingdom. If there is true belief in that, there is no room for the “poverty gospel” – an religious mindset of a spiritual orphan.
